With change happening quickly downtown – even more restaurants and attractions – SPIRE Sales Manager Mark Friedberg is tracking an ever-increasing rise in the number of SPIRE’s sales going to affluent buyers who opt for pricier units with more space and the best views. Out of a whopping 30 homes SPIRE has closed in the past three months, dollar volumes go up for each passing month — including over $6 million sold in April, with expectations to exceed that mark in May.
Today SPIRE will give you a Mother’s Day tour on the half-hour 11:30 until 4:30, showcasing the new, luxurious models in SkyClub those upper, fancier floors (Mom will get a travel candle, while they last). The SkyClub is the iconic tower’s top ten floors where homes have premium flooring, appliances, cabinets and lighting – some with loft-like 14-foot ceilings. SkyClub residents not only get their own, private SkyClub lounge for Top-o-the-Rockies style entertaining, but also wine storage, bike storage and access to a fully furnished guest suite, and some added perks across the street at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
Meanwhile, Friedberg says 70% of those buyers arrive at SPIRE already having tried the after-theater dining experience downstairs at Row 14 or the new Crave Dessert Bar & Lounge – both looking out from SPIRE onto $14 million in improvements completed last fall along 14th Street, the theater district’s showcase. “We’re now hitting some towering closing numbers,” Friedberg adds, noting that sales to local buyers are being hoisted by other buyers arriving from California, Texas, and the mountain resorts – some of them taking a pied-de-terre in the Mile High, close to their Colorado families and to skiing.
If you resonate with these larger, more luxurious models, Friedberg and his staff will pull you out of the tour for a closer look at some homes nearing completion (some buyers, he notes, are writing checks during their first visits). They’ll also give you a look at the resident-only amenities that all SPIRE buyers get: the health club; Box Office theater; concierge desk where residents run errands such as picking up packages and dry cleaning; dog park; and year-round outdoor pool-deck and spa with a view across DCPA to the mountains. You’ll experience SPIRE’s LEED® certified sustainability features including Hertz-On-Demand hourly car-sharing and a B-Cycle bike station across the street. You can park free today at downtown meters: SPIRE’s visitor center is between 14th and 15th on Champa two blocks south of the free MallRide shuttle.
